Bob Odenkirk, the main character of Better Call Saul stated he “had a small heart attack” but will “be back soon” after he was taken to a hospital on Tuesday due to collapse during shooting a scene.
Bob’s film crew called an ambulance for the 58-year-old actor in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the shooting process had taken place. Currently, the state of the actor is stable but it is still unclear what triggered this collapse.
I had a small heart attack. But I'm going to be ok thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery. Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level. I'm going to take a beat to recover but I'll be back soon.
Odenkirk has been filming the sixth and final series of the Breaking Bad spin-off, where his main character Jimmy McGill, under the pseudonym Saul Goodman, represents a lawyer with unordinary moral values.
Actor Friday’s tweets say:
“Hi. It’s bob. Thank you. To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much.”
Odenkirk is thankful to all who surrounded him, doctors and also AMC and Sony:
“Also, AMC and SONY’s support and help throughout this has been next-level. I’m going to take a beat to recover but I’ll be back soon.”
Both tweets have received more than 600k likes in total.
