Patients showed no severe allergic reactions during the clinical trials of the Sputnik V vaccine, and after its introduction into civilian circulation, Gamaleya Center chief Alexander Ginzburg said.
No severe allergic reactions have been observed during the use of the Sputnik V vaccine and during clinical trials - the first, second, third phases - and during civilian circulation, Ginzburg said in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel.
He added that about 700,000 Russians had already received the Sputnik V vaccine. Together with the Russian Health Watchdog, the Ministry of Health 'is very closely monitoring all side effects.'
