On Tuesday, December 8, Russia sent documents on the EpiVacCorona peptide vaccine against COVID-19 to the World Health Organization. Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said at a conference on countering coronavirus and other infectious diseases that the serum trials involve nearly 1,000 volunteers.

They all feel well and have no complications, Popova noted.

Russia submitted documents  to the World Health Organization for another Russian vaccine, EpiVacCorona, and is awaiting the decision of the World Health Organization, RIA Novosti reports, quoting Popova.

The expert emphasized that the tests were ongoing, and the vaccine papers had already been sent to the World Health Organization.

NEWS.ru reported earlier that Russia is developing a single vaccine against flu and COVID.
