A huge blast hit the Dashte Barchi area in the western part of the Afghan capital, Aamaj News reported on Wednesday.

One car bomb blast in Dasht-e Barchi, a heavily Shi'ite Muslim area of western Kabul, killed a civilian and injured six, Taliban* spokesman Qari Sayeed Khosty said.

“Our initial information shows the bomb was attached to a minibus. We have launched an investigation,” Khosty added.

None of the armed groups fighting in the country have yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Several Images on social media show destroyed cars and buildings.
