On Dec. 21, the euro rate rose above 91 rubles during trading on the Moscow Exchange, TASS reports.
Such a jump in the European currency value is observed for the first time since Dec. 3.
Besides, for the first time since Dec. 3, the US dollar rate on the Moscow Exchange rose above 75 rubles. At the opening of trading, the US dollar was at 73.9150 rubles (+0.77 percent). The euro, in turn, was at 90.4550 rubles (+0.71 percent).
Later, the US dollar rate grew by 3.34 percent to 75.8 rubles. The euro rose by 1.44 percent and reached 91.11 rubles.
