At the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange, the US dollar rate dropped to 73.7 rubles, or 0.22 percent, compared to the closing of trading on Dec. 9.


As of 10:15 Moscow time, the US dollar was trading at 73.7 rubles, the euro - 89.165 rubles.

Russian indices were declining on Dec. 10 morning. The Moscow Exchange index dropped 0.55 percent and the RTS index - 0.76 percent.

China may become the world leader in oil refining in 2021, pushing the US, which dominated the market since the mid-19th century, to second place, Bloomberg reported earlier.
