Armenian Emergency Minister resigns

Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan decided to leave his post, said a spokesperson of the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations, Anna Baghdasaryan.


Felix Tsolakyan has written a letter of resignation, she said.

The official has headed the ministry since 2018, RIA Novosti reports.

NEWS.ru reported earlier that Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree on the dismissal of country's Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.

The latter reportedly asked Prime Minister Pashinyan for his resignation.
