Abba’s new album Voyage which is the famous group’s first album in 40 years has topped charts and scored biggest sales record in four years.

The last album to achieve the same success was Ed Sheeran’s Divide which came out in 2017.

Topping charts is not new for Abba as their last album titled The Visitors which came out in 1981 also topped charts.

"We are so happy that our fans seem to have enjoyed our new album as much as we enjoyed making it," the band said in a statement.

"We are absolutely over the moon to have an album at the top of the charts again," they added.

The band is currently preparing for a special historical concert which will take place in the UK.

The concert will be special in the sense that the band’s virtual avatars dubbed Abbatars will lead the show.

The virtual avatars will show the band’s members in their prime form.

All their moves and dances were captured by special technology.

The special effects for the concert are being made by the same person who was responsible for the making of the main Star Wars trilogy George Lucas and his company.
