A popular British pop singer and songwriter Adele dropped on Friday a new song and video for the first time since 2015.

It is also the first song from the upcoming album “30”, which was announced to be released on November 30.

It’s been reported that “Easy On Me” became Spotify’s most-streamed song 24 hours after the release. The video clip on YouTube has already had more than 40 million views.

Adele dedicated the song to her former husband and 9-years old son Angelo James. In April 2019 Adele divorced businessman Simon Konecki after 8 years of marriage.

Adele said that she tried to explain in the song to her little son why she got divorced.

"I just felt like I wanted to explain to him, through this record, when he's in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness," she said.

Earlier it was reported that Adele has gone Instagram official on relationship with the sports agent Rich Paul after months of speculation.

The previous Adele album “25” was released in 2015 and won two Grammy Awards for “Album of the Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Album” as the 33-year-old singer won 15 Grammy Awards for the whole career. Adele also won an Oscar and Golden Globe in the “Best Soundtrack nomination” for the song Skyfall.
