Founder and CEO of SoftBank Group Corp. Masayoshi Son said he held a phone talk to a tycoon Yusaku Maezawa who is currently in space at the International Space Station.

“Maezawa called my mobile but it cut out!! I tried to call him back but he was out of range,” the billionaire Son with 2,9 million followers wrote on Twitter.

“Maezawa’s call to my mobile connected!! It’s great he’s doing well,” Son revealed in the next post on his Twitter page, putting the big red “!!” after each sentence, which is typical for elderly smartphone users.

“It’s wonderful when dreams come true!!,” the entrepreneur added.

Maezawa has been into space slightly over a week as he had planned out to fulfil 100 different whimsical tasks at the ISS including golf games in weightlessness, launching paper planes and blowing bubbles.

His trip is being recorded on camera and later being uploaded to his YouTube channel where the billionaire explains how the astronauts deal with toilet needs and the way how the space explorers consume food.

Maezawa lifted into space on December 8 from Russia-owned Baikonur cosmodrome accompanied by Japanese video producer Yozo Hirano and professional Russian cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin.

The trip which costed him around 88 million of US dollars was scheduled to last 12 days.
