US dollar, euro rise on Moscow Exchange

At the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange, the US dollar rate rose by 0.08 percent compared to the closing of the trading session on Dec. 10, to 73.11 rubles.

The euro rose 0.15 percent to 88.81 rubles, according to trading data.

As of 10:11 Moscow time, the US dollar grew 0.01 percent and amounted to 73.05 rubles. The euro rose in price by 0.1 percent to 88.77 rubles.

Russian indices on Dec. 11 morning showed positive dynamics. By 10:27, the Moscow Exchange index grew by 0.46 percent to 3,273.32 points, the RTS index - by 0.52 percent to 1,411.92 points.

China may become the world leader in oil refining in 2021, pushing the US, which dominated the market since the mid-19th century, to second place, Bloomberg reported earlier.
