Symptoms typical for coronavirus are known to doctors, and they are given priority attention. However, there are signs of infection beyond official criteria, said Croydon University Hospital physician Lydia Osei-Boateng.

According to her, during the second wave of the pandemic, people began to experience milder symptoms, which receive little attention. Among them are headaches and sore throats.

By the time a person realizes that he is infected with coronavirus, he can already communicate with other people, RIA Novosti reports quoting the UK physician.

The British variant of the coronavirus infection was discovered in mid-December 2020. The new strain maybe 70% more contagious, which does not mean that it is more dangerous in terms of mortality or hospitalization.

NEWS.ru reported earlier that doctors revealed non-obvious symptoms of cancer.
