Vadim Pokrovsky, deputy head of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, explained the work of two unique drugs to treat coronavirus infection, developed and patented by the Federal Medical and Biological Agency.

Etiotropic means medicine that kills the cause, that is, a virus, Moskva Govorit radio quotes the expert.

According to him, the drug can be a pill or injection, but it takes time to be absorbed and dispersed throughout the body and then get to the coronavirus.

Pokrovsky emphasized that after taking this medication, once or for several days, the patient with COVID-19 will fully recover, and there will be less residual effects after the infection.
