The head of the Gamaleya Research Center, Alexander Ginzburg, announced his readiness to hold a meeting with a delegation from Turkey to discuss the issue of providing the Sputnik V vaccine.

Now we are talking about providing the drug to the Turkish side. I can assure you that within the framework of the agreements that are determined by the Russian Direct Investment Fund, the Russian Ministry of Health, we are, of course, ready to receive Turkish colleagues, discuss all the nuances and supply the required number of doses shortly, first of all, for carrying out various examinations, and to begin the third-phase clinical trials on volunteers in Turkey, RIA Novosti reports citing Ginzburg.

NEWS.ru reported earlier that Turkey began toxicological trials of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus, Turkish Healthcare Minister Fahrettin Koca said.
