Head of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian consumer watchdog) Anna Popova has revealed how long immunity lasts for patients who recovered from coronavirus.
She said that current research shows that immunity after COVID-19 lasts for six months.
Consequently, a vaccine shouldn’t give a shorter period, she said on the air of the Vesti FM radio station.
Popova also said that to interrupt the epidemiological process, about 60 percent of the population must be vaccinated.
