Specialists of the state scientific center of virology and biotechnology Vector are working on three more drugs in addition to the already approved coronavirus vaccine EpiVacCorona.

Three more vaccines have proven promising and are in development, the press service of Rospotrebnadzor told TASS.

The department explained that these are recombinant vaccines based on influenza A virus, vesicular stomatitis virus, and measles virus.

NEWS.ru reported earlier that Melita Vujnovich, the World Health Organization (WHO) representative in Russia, said she would be vaccinated against the coronavirus with a Russian-made vaccine.

Vujnovic explained that she always uses the healthcare services of the country in which she is at the moment. She noted that earlier in Russia, she received a flu vaccine, underwent an examination for oncology, and treated for pneumonia. Vujnovic said she had been in Russia for more than three years, and during this time, she has never gone to another country for treatment.
