Huge blast targets Shiite mosque in Afghanistan, killing dozens (VIDEOS)

A powerful explosion occurred in a Shiite mosque in Afghan city of Kunduz on Friday resulting in many casualties, the Taliban’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told the reporters.
The suicide bomb attack in the capital of Afghanistan's Kunduz province blasted during the weekly Friday prayer service at the Gozar-e-Sayed Abad Mosque when lots of the Shia religious minority members gather for worship.
Over 100 people could die in an explosion, more than 200 were injured, witnesses said right after the attack. According to the United Nations mission in Afghanistan, more than 100 Afghans killed and injured. A medical source at the Kunduz Provincial Hospital said that 35 dead and more than 50 wounded receiving treatment at the facility.

Previously, radical Islamist group ISIL-Khorasan committed two deadly bombings in Kabul.
