Russia won’t extend the list of unfriendly countries - Foreign MinistryRyabkov assesses the possibility of expanding the list of unfriendly countries.
Russian Foreign Ministry is not considering additional amendments to the list of unfriendly countries and is not ready to discuss it. The statement comes from the Deputy head of department Sergei Ryabkov, RIA Novosti reports.
The diplomat also noted that the Russian side did not consider the list of unfriendly countries as a tool for «heating the situation up». He said that the existence of such a list was a legal matter only.
Right now the United States and the Czech Republic are on the Russian list of unfriendly countries. Earlier, Deputy Head of the Duma International Affairs Committee Alexey Chepa proposed to add Poland to the list. The reason for this was the statement of the Polish president Andrzej Duda, who called Russia the «abnormal country-aggressor».
The senator called the President of Poland a US «cheap puppet» and noted that he is ready to say anything for the sake of receiving the next «Western handout». Chepa added that the attempt to press Warsaw down economically is pointless, as it would affect ordinary people rather than the authorities.
