Governor Alexander Beglov signed a list of new, more stringent measures in St. Petersburg to contain the spread of coronavirus. Starting November 23, spectators have been banned from accessing sports events. The skating rinks and catering in all shopping centers suspend operation.


Changes to the government decree were signed on November 18, the press service of Smolny reports. 

Other skating rinks will remain open but also subject to strict restrictions. 

The skating area can accommodate one person per 10 square meters. 

Indoor rinks are limited to 30 people.

NEWS.ru reported earlier that Moscow region may introduce new restrictions for people over 65.
