Vaccination against coronavirus infection in Russia will begin at the end of the week, and the authorities are meeting the deadline, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said, RIA Novosti reports.

The first vaccination points are opening in the regions of Russia, he noted.

The politician instructed to provide an opportunity for everyone to get vaccinated against coronavirus on New Year’s holidays.

Complete abstinence from alcohol for several weeks after vaccination isn’t required, but it is recommended not to drink alcohol for three days after vaccination, said Alexander Ginzburg, director of the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, NEWS.ru reported earlier.
