Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday said that he has been revaccinated against progressing COVID-19 infection with the Sputnik Light dose.


“Today, I received another dose of the vaccine - Sputnik Light, at your recommendation, at the recommendation of your colleagues. It is called revaccination,” he said.

Describing how he felt after the inoculation the President said he had been revaccinated two hours ago and felt nothing adding he was completely all right and the condition is fine.

The first jab of the vaccine Putin received on March 23 as the second dose was administered just several weeks later on April 14. The Russian President later revealed the vaccine was Sputnik V.

At the end of September, US President Joe Biden kept his promise after saying he was intended to inoculate for the third time. The process of Biden receiving the booster jab was broadcasted live.
