Russian FSB agents have arrested five members of a neo-Nazi group that was plotting a terrorist attack against law enforcement officers.
During the apartment search in the Russian city of Ufa, the agents found an explosive device as well as up to nine cold weapons.
"The Federal Security Service stopped preparations for a terror attack at a law enforcement office in Bashkortostan. Five Ufa residents, members of a neo-Nazi group who were born between 2001 and 2003 and were prepping for a terror attack with the use of improvised explosives and explosive devices, have been detained," the FSB said in a statement.
The neo-Nazis also had portraits of German Nazi figures as well as the portraits of the Ukranian nationalist Stepan Bandera.
Following the arrest of the neo-Nazis they were placed in pretrial detention and criminal cases were launched against each one of them.
