A Moscow driver who turned out to be a drug dealer damaged at least ten cars as he tried to flee the pursuers.

A Hollywood-worthy pursuit was recorded this afternoon in Russia’s capital Moscow as a BMW X5 driver tried to escape police officers after smashing a dozen cars on the main Ring Road of the city and put a Volga automobile on fire.

As police forces tried to catch the wrongdoer, he decided to flee the scene and smashed at least ten cars in a traffic jam pushing a taxi off the road up to the lawn. Despite having pierced one of the vehicle’s wheels, the driver kept going and accidentally hit an old Volga’s petrol tank which triggered a fire outbreak.

Finally, the driver pursued by at least six police cars was arrested in a nearby field where he rushed after the chase had finalized. Local media report that agents opened fire at the car and the driver was shot in the neck but did not suffer critical damage and left the car which was of no use for a quick escape.

According to preliminary information, the driver was identified as a 23-year-old drug dealer Sergey Novikov. Officers reportedly found 6 kg (13.2 lbs) of mephedrone in his car.
