A citizen of the Russian town of Timashevsk in the Kuban region uses an unordinary method for entering his apartments - he does it through a balcony, Kuban 24 broadcaster reported.

Alexander, the man of his 70, is the wheelchair bound pensioner who lives in a three-story building at the very top floor. He constructed a makeshift winch and a gateway by his own to ease his way of getting to his place.

The decision came likely after the inconvenience to lift up to the third floor as there are no rampants attached to the building. The winch is being operated by the controller.

Neighbours told the source that Alexander worked at a factory and he is an electrician by profession.

People who used to witness how Alexander lifts to his balcony are not surprised by that as the man also has numerous solar panels attached to the outer wall of his home, thus he receives an extra electricity.

Alexander has also a driver license and successfully operates a car.
