Head of Bellator Scott Coker aims at arranging “something large-scale” regarding the next and the last fight for Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko (40-6 MMA, 4-2 in Bellator).
The date for the farewell battle is being considered to be set for summer in Moscow where he promised to hold a large send-off.
“I think that we’re planning something really, you know, large-scale event in Russia for him as his farewell, sending off as far as having this illustrious career being the greatest heavyweight of all time,” according to MMA Junkie, citing Scott Coker.
The President of Bellator compared the conditions and speed of 45-years-old Fedor with the fighter’s younger version of 25 when talking about the 3-punch combination which led to the knockout of Timothy Johnson within Bellator 269 in Russia.
Scott Coker was amazed by the performance of Fedor Emelianenko and he is sure there must be one more fight to go.
However, Cocker refused to pronounce any names of those to fight Fedor and also declined the possibility of Emelianenko fighting Bader as Valentin Moldavsky, the student of Emelianenko and interim heavyweight champion, is set to fight Ryan Bader.
