Amazon Web Services have announced that the company will open hubs in Israel, with the statement coming weeks after Israel's government signed a $1 billion deal with AWS and Google to provide cloud services for the state's public sector and military.

The centers in Israel are expected to be opened around the first semester of 2023.

AWS is a subsidiary of Amazon company offering on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments on a pay-as-you-go basis, that comprises over 200 products and services including computing, storage, networking, database, and analytics. The AWS technology is implemented at server farms throughout the world.
