The information has been found at the in-app purchase chart described in Instagram’s App Store listing.

Instagram users have noticed that the platform has added in-app purchase options for “Instagram Subscriptions”.

According to TechCrunch, monitoring programs Sensor Tower and Apptopia have detected a new in-app purchase option which was mentioned in App Store’s Instagram listing.

The source reports that the cheapest subscription will cost $0.99 while the most expensive type is likely to reach $4.99 per month.

Social media consultant Brian Kofi Hollingsworth has confirmed the rumors as he also spotted the changes.

Such programs have already proven their efficiency as they successfully found Twitter’s subscription service dubbed Twitter Blue shortly before its presentation.

Instagram officials have earlier mentioned that they were investigating the subscription concept which will allow donators to watch creators’ exclusive content, predominantly Insta Stories.

In June Instagram officials unveiled that they developed monetization tools including tips and badges to add them to the profit obtained by ads.

Mobile developer Alessandro Paluzzi has earlier presented a prototype of exclusive stories which only creators’ members can see. They will not be able to take a screenshot of such stories expected to be marked by a purple color.
