The monarch was captured reprehending eco-inaction during the Welsh parliament opening ceremony.
Queen Elizabeth II was recorded criticizing the lack of action concerning climate change as she was talking with her son’s wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and parliament Presiding Officer Elin Jones.
“It’s irritating when they talk but they don’t do,” the Queen told the other women.
The conversation was filmed two weeks before the COP26 climate summit that will be held in Glasgow, Scotland. The Queen, having a cane, appeared to say that she had no idea who was bound to attend the conference adding that she was better informed about those who will not come.
Jones agreed with the monarch and brought up the subject of Prince William denouncing the space race launched by American billionaires in her turn.
“We need to save the Earth,” the Llywydd of the Senedd said.
In September British Prime Minister Boris Johnson delivered a speech at the UN General Assembly and dubbed the COP26 “a turning point for humanity.”
Many netizens have criticized Queen Elizabeth accusing the Royal Family of hypocrisy and not wearing a mask during a public gathering.
