The footage was made as the US President assisted at the transfer of the 13 troops' remains after a deadly blast in Kabul airport last week.

US President Joe Biden has drawn a wide denunciation after he cast a glance at his watch at the solemn ceremony of receiving bodies of the 13 deceased soldiers who had died in Afghanistan.

The incident happened at Dover Air Force Base where the President and the First Lady arrived to pay tribute to the military and meet their families.

During the dignified transfer, Biden was captured placing his right hand to his chest and looking at his watch on the left hand before putting his arms behind his back.

The move has been widely criticized by US citizens, veterans, and Republican politicians.

Some netizens cracked a joke about nap time, which is a reference to another incident that took place last week.

On Friday Biden met Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, the first visit of the new PM to the US. The American Head of State was shot sleeping as the Israeli official continued his speech.

However, the President answered right after Bennett had finished talking, refuting the theory that he was napping.
