The President's speech comes after Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas tested positive for COVID-19 and had a meeting with Biden just a couple of days ago.
"Secretary Mayorkas is experiencing only mild congestion; he is fully vaccinated and will isolate and work at home per CDC protocols and medical advice," DHS spokesperson Marsha Espinosa said.
Earlier, Biden received a third shot against COVID-19 and urged Americans again to go get a vaccine to avoid further spread of deadly contagion, which led to thousands of fatalities in the country.
The inoculation process was recorded when Joe Biden rolled up his left sleeve and got a third jab of the Pfizer vaccine, which was recently approved for those eligible who are at a high risk of being infected, including people above 65.
In addition, the President imposed mandatory vaccination on all federal workers as well as those who work and do business with the American government.
