The annual defense bill of the United States this time considers the establishment of a special agency that would investigate UFO and alien life.

Within 180 days after the bill is signed by American President Joe Biden an organization will be established that will look into matters connected to unidentified aerial phenomena.

The bill states that the new bureau will “evaluate links between unidentified aerial phenomena and adversarial foreign governments, other foreign governments, or non state actors” and “the threat that such incidents present to the United States.”

A special congressional committee will be devoted especially to the matter and the organization will report its new findings twice a year.

The US government has already shed a light on the topic of UFOs in the past.

Back in summer a governmental report was released saying that the currently recorded incidents involving UFOs have not a “single explanation.”

The US Army has encountered at least 140 documented incidents involving UFOs since 2004.

After the release of the report in June the UFOs were named a threat to national security and flight safety.

The Pentagon is also working on the matter as last month it announced the formation of the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group. The organization looks into other investigative committees and oversees them.

The formation of the group was criticized by many as it was seen as just yet another step to limit transparency on the matter.
