The festival’s lineupper intends to give his pay to the families of eight victims and at least 25 concertgoers hospitalized after a crowd surge.

Rapper Roddy Ricch announced on his Instagram account that he was going to donate his earnings to the families of Astroworld Festival victims and urged his followers to make them contact.

“Please have the families of those who we lost yesterday reach out. I’ll be donating my net compensation to the families of this incident,” the musician wrote in his Instagram Stories adding #Pray4Houston.

Ricch, who participated last week in Kanye West’s Sunday Service, performed on the stage of Astroworld Festival 2021 on November 5 before Travis Scott’s appearance around 9 p.m. when the crowd started pushing towards the stage and stomped down to death eight people.

Another Astroworld lineupper SZA has also shared her feelings about the tragedy saying that she was praying for the victims’ families. On Friday the singer left the stage ahead of schedule after feeling sick.

Master P, who had performed at the festival in the afternoon, published a video on his Instagram account urging his followers to share their love with their families.

Earlier Astroworld’s runner Travis Scott and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner commented on the disaster and promised to provide aid for the families of the deceased highlighting that they were unaware of the casualties.
