An American congressman uploaded a Christmas photo of a group of smiling people, allegedly his relatives, including himself, posing before camera with firearms following the recent deadly incident at a Michigan high school where a teenager shot four students to death.
The picture posted on Twitter by the Representative of Kentucky, Thomas Massie, was followed by a caption “Merry Christmas! P.S. Santa, please bring ammo.”
The deadly incident happened on the last day of November, when a 15-year-old student armed with a 9mm SIG Sauer handgun headed to school to implement his inhumane intentions.
Chairman of the US House of Representatives Budget Committee, John Yarmuth, strictly criticized the content published by his fellow colleague.
“I’m old enough to remember Republicans screaming that it was insensitive to try to protect people from gun violence after a tragedy. I promise not everyone in Kentucky is an insensitive a**hole.”
The concerns regarding safety in schools, gun possessions and gun rights have re-erupted after a fierce shooting in Michigan, that took away the lives of four and wounded seven, including a teacher who suffered from a shoulder injury.
