A video was released which showed how the 39-year-old Darell Brooks who droveinto a Christmas parade in Waukesha got arrested.

The house where the footage was taken is located about a mile from where the attack that took five lives and injured nearly 50 people took place.

The video was recorded around 20 minutes after the rampage.

“I called an Uber and I’m supposed to be waiting for it over here, but I don’t know when it’s coming,” he told a local resident.

Then he proceeded to ask him to call him an Uber because he is “homeless.”

The local resident was identified as Daniel Rider as he later gave the video to NBC News

He said that he was on a hunting trip and watched a football game so at the time he was unaware of the tragedy that took place.

Brooks was invited inside where he was given a jacket, a sandwich and a phone to call an Uber.

“All of a sudden, I look outside my street and I see a few cop cars drive by and I’m getting extra nervous,” Rider said in a statement.

Brooks later returned, knocked on the door and said that he forgot his ID.

“Then the next thing you know, you see the cops with lights on him saying, ‘Hands in the air! Hands in the air!’” Rider continued.

Now Brooks will be handled to court where his future will be decided.
