The annual event which took its start back in 1921 welcomes ladies from the United States aged between 17 and 25.
Thus Broyles was awarded with a solid sum of 100,000 US dollars and surely with a crown, which officially made her the first woman from Alaska who won at the 100th anniversary event.
The event included 51 women representing 50 States.
The previous Miss America event was held in 2019 where Camille Schrier was crowned as a winner. In 2020 it failed to be arranged due to pandemic measures.
