During an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, the Vice President of the US gave an emotional speech defending President Biden and his administration.

US Vice President Kamala Harris has become one of the main topics of discussions in the country after her appearance at Charlamagne Tha God’s TV show “Tha God’s Honest Truth”, specifically due to her fierce speech after the host asked her who the real US President was.

Charlamagne posed the question referring to Senator from West Virginia Joe Manchin, who, despite belonging to the Democratic Party, stood against certain recent initiatives of the Biden administration and “stopped progress and ruined democracy” as the interviewer said.

“I want to know who the real president of this country is — is it Joe Biden, or Joe Manchin?”

Harris got very emotional after the question and was apparently disappointed as well.

“C’mon, Charlamagne. No, no, no, no, it’s Joe Biden. And don’t start talking like a Republican,” the Vice President repeated.

Harris then listed some of the President administration's achievements and including the child tax credit aiming at reducing Black child poverty by half and plans to replace every lead water pipe in the country or to bring down prescription drug costs.

Still, she highlighted that a lot of work remained to be done promising not to give up.

“I hear the frustration, but let’s not deny the impact that we’ve had and agree also that there is a whole lot more work to be done and it is not easy to do.”

Charlamagne explained that he regarded Harris as the one who can save democracy adding that he preferred the fierce Vice President and wanted her to be like that more frequently.

“That Kamala Harris — that’s the one I like.”

The interview expectedly divided netizens into two camps with one approving of the VP’s power while the other criticizing her for putting all the blame on Republicans.

It is not Charlamagne’s first widely discussed interview taken recently. Last week he released a conversation with Travis Scott which was the rapper’s first public appearance since the Astroworld Festival tragedy which took the lives of ten people.
