Norwegian postal service Posten released a Christmas ad for a Youtube channel where Santa Claus in the story delivers gifts to children and ends up with a boyfriend.

In the video, a shirtless man named Harry comes down the stairs to get some water and catches Santa. The embarrassed old man, seeing the owner of the house, throws himself into the chimney. However, in the end, their meeting leads to a romantic relationship and a kiss a few years later.

Harry waited for reunion every single year afterwards and eventually presented Santa with a letter, saying: "All I want for Christmas is you." This year the aging man is getting presents from a postal girl. After returning to the living room he finds Santa there who presumably accepted the proposal mentioning that he ordered some help this year to stay with Harry.

At the end of the video, a text appears on the screen: "In 2022, Norway marks 50 years of being able to love whoever we want.”

The video is apparantly dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality in Norway.

The ad makes a reference to the 1989 movie “When Harry Met Sally”, except that the original featured a heterosexual couple played by Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan.
