The explosion at the factory of the car tire recycling in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan injured three people, one of them in a critical state, according to the emergency services of the Almaty region.


The emergency call took place in the night at 03:25 local time. Presumably, the blast happened in the container for vacuum pyrolysis of waste tires, the capacity of 5 cubic meters, with the future combustion of used tires. The blaze spread for 80 square meters.

As a result, three employees of the facility were injured (1962, 1969, and 1977 year of birth) and immediately taken to a hospital. The most harmed employee was a man of 1977 birth year.

The fire has been extinguished at 04:49 local time. Several units of firefighter hardware, police, ambulance, and other services were called to the place of the explosion.

According to the preliminary version of the accident, the blast had been caused by the safety rules violation.
