The apps and websites of the social media giant Facebook’s services which include Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are being unacceptable to the users as the apps suffer a global outage.

Over 80,00 people sent reports that they are unable to enter their social media pages in WhatsApp, additional 50,000 reports were sent due to Facebook’s outage.

Even the headset of virtual reality Oculus which is owned by Facebook is also not working.

“We are aware some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience," the company itself said in a statement.

The reason for the outage is unknown and it was not mentioned by the company.

Sometimes such major errors occur because of minor things, as one of such previous outages was caused by only one user changing his settings which led to a bug.

As WhatsApp remains damaged users are switching to Telegram causing one of the world’s most popular messengers to also lag.

It is expected that due to the high number of staff Facebook has the issue will not take long before being fixed.
