Google is closing its East London Campus, which was one of largest start-up spaces among the world.

Earlier, the Campus was forced to close due to the pandemic, and on Monday The Silicon Valley tech giant announced that the decision “not to reopen” had been made.

“We are embarking on a new chapter for Google for Startups UK with the decision not to reopen our Campus in London” – is written on the main website of Campus.

Campus was opened in 2012 by Israeli tech veteran and Google employee Eza Vidra.

Google possesses other campuses in Seoul, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Warsaw, Madrid and Sao Paulo.
