A man suspected of taking part in the murder of the Saudi journalist Jamal Kashoggi in an embassy in Turkey was arrested in the capital of France Paris.

The man reportedly was boarding a plane to Riyadh when he was caught by security officers.

Now he will be extradited and face trial in Turkey where the crime itself took place.

Kashoggi was allegedly murdered under the direct order of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in 2018 in a Saudi consulate in the Turkish capital.

He was a prominent critic of bin Salman’s policies.

People were jailed and executed in both Saudi Arabia and Turkey but the body of the victim was never found.

Earlier, the singer Justin Bieber performed in the Saudi city of Jeddah at an F1 race where he sang his popular songs despite the calls of various human rights groups to boycott the event due to the described events.
