The legendary football player Edson Arantes do Nascimento more known simply as Pelé who also worked as the minister of sports of Brazil was brought back to a hospital due to his tumor.

The star is in a stable condition and his stay in the hospital will not last longer than several days, according to Albert Einstein hospital where the former football player is staying.

The star has already spent at least a month in a hospital back in September after a colon tumor removal.

The star said that he is feeling “fine” and better “every day.”

At first it was reported that he has not undergone chemical therapy, however now it became known that the treatment was required for the sake of his well-being.

The three-time world cup winner is currently 81-years-old with his first world cup being won back in 1958.

He retired in 1977 and across his career managed to score over 1,000 goals versus the world’s best teams.

Due to his sickness he currently cannot walk without someone’s help and is always being medically checked up.
