There is a massive cancellation of trips to Antalya and Turkish ski resorts due to coronavirus restrictions, Russian tour operators report.

Almost all tour operators have canceled programs to Antalya. The main reason is that Turkey isn’t expecting foreign tourists, in principle, not only Russian citizens, Tourprom reports referring to the director-general of a Russian network of travel agencies.

The reason for the massive cancellations of tours was the measures to counter the pandemic, particularly the closure of spa centers, heated pools, and ski lifts. Restrictions have collapsed all demand for such tours.

However, excursion programs to Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Izmir are still open.

Due to the emergence of a new coronavirus strain, many countries have tightened restrictions for incoming tourists, NEWS.ru reported earlier.
